West Dallas Community School Welcomes
New Headmaster, Bentley Craft
With great joy, the Board of Directors of West Dallas Community School welcomes Bentley Craft as the school’s new Headmaster. Mr. Craft brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the school as the fourth leader to hold this position. Since 2005, Mr. Craft has served as Head of Middle School at Trinity Christian Academy of Addison. Prior to Trinity Christian he held positions at the Rivendell School in Arlington, Virginia, both as a teacher and later as Co-Head of School. A native Texan, Mr. Craft received a B.A. degree in English Literature from the University of Texas at Austin and a Masters in Education from the University of Virginia.
On the personal side, Bentley is married to Dorothy and they have four children including three daughters, Nouwen, age 10; Celia, age 8; Elena, age 6; and one son, Harper, who is fourteen months old.
Mr. Craft replaces Jay Hohfeler who resigned earlier in the year to focus on recovering from cancer and related medical needs.
