West Dallas Community School


West Dallas Community School seeks to enroll children of any race, color, national, or ethnic origin who will benefit from and contribute to the educational community.  The goal of the admissions committee is to bring together a cohesive student body which can best grow spiritually, intellectually, and physically.  Each applicant’s academic potential, scholastic motivation, character, and extracurricular interests will be taken into consideration.  We will seek to know what is best for the child and also for the school.

In order to apply, please follow these steps:

Submit the following to Sharon Howard, Director of Admissions, beginning January 1 for the following school year:

  • Application for Admissions 2019-2020
  • Copy of Birth Certificate
  • Current immunization records
  • Copy of past achievement test scores, all school/educational records (IEP, counseling, all therapies, etc.)
  • Teacher recommendation forms for 1st grade and above

If applying for 1st-8th grade:

  1. You will be notified of testing date and time for your child
  2. Following testing, a parent interview will be scheduled
  3. After parent interview, notification letters will be mailed
